Exploring Augmented Reality

Exploring Augmented Reality

My AR exploration story

During my second year of B.Tech, I interned at Flack Marketing Solutions, a startup that focused on integrating augmented reality (AR) with marketing strategies. My role involved researching how Web 3.0 and immersive digital experiences could evolve the company’s business model.

I contributed to the development of an AR experience using Meta Spark that transformed traditional business cards into interactive tools. This project, which included 3D card projections, gave me practical experience in 3D modeling, animation, and AR interactions, teaching me how technology can make abstract concepts tangible.

This experience with AR ignited a passion for the field, leading me to conduct an introductory workshop on AR development and interactive design for students at MBCET with the IEEE Augmentum Team. This opportunity allowed me to share my knowledge and further explore the pedagogical aspects of technology.

The workshop was a great success, with students producing a range of innovative work. Feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with many participants expressing that the session was their first introduction to the platform and its creative potential.

Below is one of my student’s submission.

The opportunity to work with augmented reality has fundamentally changed how I view technology. I am excited to see where the field goes next and to be part of that evolution through my own projects and continued learning.
